If you were a kid in the 70s/80s, book and record sets were fun because everytime you heard a chime it gave you permission to turn pages. How authoritarian! Of course, the only thing better than a book and record set was a COMIC book and record set. When I was very young and listening to my grandparents' big floor model record player, I'd occasionally get comic book/record sets to listen to. At some point, someone gave me Star Trek: Passage to Moauv, and I enjoyed listening to it many times. I probably haven't heard it since I was a kid, but it is still stored with my collection, joined by many other comic book/record sets. Considering my later love of Star Trek, this one deserves to be dug out of storage and re-experienced. The Sensational She-Hulk #7 was the first issue of this series I picked up at a local gas station when I was young. The depiction of an old Marvel monster on the cover made me buy it. Once I read it, the book was a revelation. The old fourth-wall-breaking gag was in full effect as part of this book's makeup. John Byrne was having tons of fun being humorous with the readers as She-Hulk would talk to them and integrate conventions of the comic book into her story.
It was also fun to see semi-obscure characters given something to do, as U.S.1 (from his own short-lived series), Razorback (from old Spidey comics), Blonde Phantom (a golden age character), and Xemnu the Titan (the old Marvel monster who also appeared in issue of Incredible Hulk and The Defenders) all played a part in the tale.
I couldn't afford to keep buying this title at the time, but I have since sought out and read most of the rest of Byrne's She-Hulk issues. He worked on #1-8, then took about 20 issues off before returning to do another 20 issues.

As the entry says, this is where I first read Spidey's first several issues, although I had previously read the origin story elsewhere. I remember being a kid in the family vehicle reading this little paperback full of old Spider-Man stories. Fond memories are wrapped up in the first appearances of Doc Ock, Lizard, The Tinkerer, and Sandman... and it was in color, unlike many other paperback reprints.

The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe vol.2 (Deluxe Edition) #16 was the 3rd issue of this series I bought when I was young. I was and still am obsessed with character handbooks thanks to these Marvel Handbooks. This issue began a five issue spotlight on the "dead" Marvel characters. At the time, I thought it was the coolest thing to read about these characters' histories and how they died-- especially since I hadn't heard of many of them. I waited quite impatiently for each new issue of the "dead" to come out. So, in the spirit of Halloween, I present this as one of my old favorites. It's still fun to go through these five issues and see how many of the characters have remained "dead," and how many have returned from the grave...

As the link headline reads, this was my first comic (as far as my memory tells me). When I first received this comic, it would have been new. It has a March 1980 cover date, which means it probably came out near the end of 1979. I would have been 2 years old and quite unable to read it. However, I was allowed to look at it. Believe it or not, it is still in great shape-- most likely because my family wouldn't let me mess it up. Several years later, when I began collecting comics for real, this was a jewel of the bunch.

I'm in a new comics mood. I blame Secret Invasion, which has me reading a bunch more Marvels than I would normally read. Secret Invasion has me hooked, mainly because I'm a sucker for a mystery, and this storyline has mysteries wrapped around other mysteries. I really want to see how far back the little green ripplechins have infiltrated the Marvel Universe and influenced Marvel Universe events (like Civil War).

I got this book as a kid at a yard sale with some Superboy issues, a Land of the Giants issue, and an adaption of Disney's Jungle Book. (Some of those may pop up in this feature some day.) The thing that made this issue kinda weird when I read it was the guest appearance of Superman. A "serious" character crossing into a silly comic was fun, unlike the bizarre raised-eyebrow crossover of Archie and the Punisher.

I've been trying to get back into reading some Marvels again. Some listeners have made some good suggestions. I'm still hopeful that the registration act will go away. (Recent events in Spidey's book have made me want to stop all over again. I don't want to read about a marriage disappearing. I've had enough of that in real life.) I've tried to look at Marvel's books as the fictional stories they are, with the viewpoint that the Initiative/ registration act story is far from over. ...And this is so very true with Skrulls running around the MU.

West Coast Avengers vol.2 #20. This was the first issue of this series that I bought new off the stands. I've probably mentioned this comic before on the podcast, but this Steve Englehart scripted tale was part 4 of a lost-in-time storyline for the team. Different members of the team were lost in different time periods and interacting with other Marvel characters from those time periods. Great stuff-- but then again, I'm a sucker for time travel stories. I remember asking my family to pick this one up for me when I was 9 years old. They brought it home from a Sheetz convenience store, ready to be devoured by my eager comic-reading eyes.

Ew. Icky. Love stuff. Although the cover was a little overboard with all the happy hearts, the tale inside was a bit better. When I read Superman #12 as a youngster, I don't think I knew that this was a post-Crisis re-telling of the Lori Lemaris story. The story of early love for Superman was a sad one, and the tail...um, tale had a twist. I originally bought this comic as part of a 3-pack of Superman issues at either a K-Mart or a now defunct local chain called Gee Bee Department Stores. This issue was part of John Byrne's run that began the post-Crisis Superman.

Not being able to post the podcast whenever I feel like it has thrown it off schedule-- as you may have noticed. For those who'd like to know, episode 73 and 74 (and possibly 75) will (hopefully) appear Oct. 13th. I will try to get something out before then, but I know that day will place me in a computerized place. Rural life is a pain sometimes... okay, a lot of the time. The bright side is that when I do get to post, you'll get 2 or 3 episodes at once, and you can use the delay until the next batch to catch up with those. It equals out...
To give you a hint of what's to come, episode 73 will feature guest JJ with a back issue review plus a new segment by JJ, episode 74 will feature the typical back issue review and other bits, and 75 will feature my first comic creator guest co-host/interviewee. That shall be a surprise. Episode 76 will feature a special bit on some instances of comic censorship and controversy throughout the last 20 years. All this is subject to reshuffling, but it will all get out there regardless.
(And for those of you who may be wondering how I can be posting this blog piece and not a show-- this computer at work, for whatever reason, can't upload the files. I think there is some type of security against it... But, perhaps I can keep you all entertained with blog posts until the 13th...)

Giant-Size Defenders #4. I believe this was a flea market find when I was young. This comic is not only cool for me because I like the Squadron Sinister/Supreme characters that appeared in the main story, but it's cool for me because of the type of tales that made up the rest of the book. My young self was thrilled to see the classic Ditko Doctor Strange reprint story that ended the book. My young self was even more ecstatic to discover the early 1940s Sub-Mariner reprint from Human Torch comics that appeared in the middle of the issue. A nice issue with a mix of the 40s, 60s, and 70s.

Thor #387. This was one of the first 2 or 3 issues of Thor I ever owned. The insane struggle of Thor vs. the Celestial began here and continued over the next two issues. This story provided an exciting, action-filled jolt to my young imagination. I bought this comic off the spinner rack of a local drug store-- the same drug store that supplied me with many of my first comics. Ron Frenz's art on Thor is wonderful. Frenz is one of three artists that I consider Thor's great artists (the other two being Kirby and Simonson).

These unposted episodes were cannibalized into "lost episodes" and "lost episode segments" for the current podcast. Otherwise, these unposted "practice" episodes were never heard... except one: the first episode.
I actually recorded the first episode (I believe) three times, with the 3rd time being the official libsyn-posted first episode. This 3rd recording actually used 2/3 of the recording from the 2nd try because the 2nd try had been good-- it just needed updated and polished for libsyn.
Longer story short, I had originally intended to post the podcast with Our Media/ the Internet Archive, and I had tried to upload the 2nd try of episode one. As far as I could tell, the process was too difficult, and I didn't think it worked, so I abandoned Our Media and the 2nd try of the first episode.
Recently, I found that the old 2nd try of my first episode did indeed post to Our Media, and it's been there all along. Several people even downloaded it. So, I have what amounts to an alternate take of episode one out there on the net.

If you don't care to go to the site, I plan to include this alternate take in its entirety in my -1 episode. Normally, I wouldn't try to include previous takes of shows, but since this one is actually out there and available, I want to collect it as a rarity here.
If you've heard the official episode one on this site, then you will recognize much of the same material, but with a different introduction segment and no edits or splices that were used to integrate the material later on. Seeing as how the show's 1st anniversary is coming up, this find is appropriate...

Rather than go into this on an episode, I'll use my underused blog. What is my updated pull list? For those of you who care, there are currently only 4 books on it-- soon to be 3.
Last time I updated you on my pull list (in an podcast episode), I was hanging on to the AC Comics book Men of Mystery. As much as I am willing to pay $9.95 per issue for great golden age reprints, I can't. There are so many other books I can get for ten bucks. Heck, at the one used comic shop (the "happy magic" one I talk of), I can get a real golden age comic for ten bucks. I know AC probably doesn't have the funding to offer a lower price, and that's why I'm willing to pay it. However... I can't do it when I'm trying (key word "trying") to stay somewhere within a budget...
As I stated the last time I revealed my pull list, Marvels were being sacrificed. It's no secret that since the end of Civil War, I have been displeased with Marvel's direction. I find it difficult to like or identify with many of the heroes anymore. The only regular Marvel title that I've been still picking up even though I said I wouldn't is Captain America out of morbid curiosity of what will happen next. But I don't have Captain America on my pull list anymore; the only Marvel title still on the list is Astonishing X-Men, which is ending soon anyway (at least with Joss writing).
So the other three that are currently on my list are all DC books: Countdown, Justice Society of America, and The Brave and the Bold. I must exclaim that for the first time in my life-- in almost 30 years of comic reading-- DC is my read of choice. I've always loved and read DC, but I was a Marvel kid growing up. So, this is an interesting place to be.
I have been trying to sample new Marvel books again, though. I picked up World War Hulk #1. It was very exciting, and I may continue that one...
However, this past year has seen me shift to buying almost all older comics. So, all the different shops and stores that sell me comics can't complain 'cause they still get my money...more than should be spent, usually...
So that's my pull list. Pretty meager. I'm usually digging through the bins and boxes instead. Always looking for the great finds that have been rescued from someone's comic book attic...

Hi, all. As I have mentioned in the show, I'll be going to Oklahoma for 2 weeks. We'll be leaving next week. My plan is to keep all you die-hards stocked up with shows. I've already posted (not long after 58 & 59) episodes 0 and 60. Before I go, I hope to post 61 & 62. All told, there probably won't be another show for almost 3 weeks. Hopefully, you'll stock up with these. ...Or sample some older shows.
Episodes 61 and 62 will probably be 20-25 minutes, with 61 finishing up the Transformers feature and 62 being whatever it will be.

Superboy #149. Another Superboy comic that I got as a kid at a yard sale. This one was extra special because of the Bonnie and Clyde angle. It sports one of a number of covers Neal Adams drew for the series. This issue contained two stories, one new and one reprint from Adventure Comics. I don't remember much about the plots of the stories since it's been probably 20 years since I last read it, and it is stored away so I can't readily look. Honestly, though, this is a favorite merely because it was one of my first comics. It did well to serve my lifelong liking of old Superboy stories. It's funny how that works, isn't it?

This 1982 Amazing Spider-man giveaway comic was one of my first comics given to me at my dentist's office. In partnership with Aim toothpaste, Marvel published this tale of Spidey vs. Doc Ock vs. toothaches. Dentistry and a battle ensues in "Crisis at Cape Canaveral!" I read this over and over when I was a kid. I didn't care that it was a comic meant to help sell toothpaste because the advertising didn't drive the story like those old Hostess ads (which were great 'cause they were short and odd). This was a comic that would entertain kids and give them an incentive to go to the scary dentist...

I was listening to directly downloaded episodes from the site, and I noticed that the last 3-4 seconds are cut off the ends of the episodes. That wouldn't be such a big deal if not for the fact that I put "hidden" bits at the end of many episodes. Does anyone else notice this? Does this happen from iTunes also? Other podcatchers? Let me know.

I began reading the Crisis on Multiple Earths: The Team-ups trade, and in the very first DC multiverse crossover story, when the two Flashes meet, we see that Barry Allen visits Jay Garrick at his home address: 5252 78th Street! We can even see the 5252 on the door. I find it funny and too crazy of a coincidence that not only was Jay's address "52" but "5252" !!!! Make of it what you will. Am I the only one to discover this? Anyone else see this before now?

I'm ahead in the pledged reading for the month, but it hasn't been causing my number of unread comics to go down any... for every 5 I read, I buy 10 more cheap comics... Oh, well. It's fun to try. Most of the first 20-something comics read this month were newer comics languishing in my boxes. I was trying not to backlog the amount of older comics I review. Marvel Super-heroes Secret Wars #4. Two words: Hulk. Mountain.

Happy goosebumps appear as a youngster-- heck, still as an adult-- while looking at the scene of Hulk holding up a mountain while the other heroes (trapped under there with him) devise a method of escape. The heroes working together is nice to see... much better than watching them tear each other apart as they seem to do in civil wars these days...

This series is a favorite of mine, as is the much maligned sequel series. I own all issues of both series. But this issue tops the other individual issues, however, because of the Hulk-meets-mountain scenario. I got this issue as part of a three pack of Secret Wars issues in the late 1980s from Value City. Oh, the memories...

...And I went through with reducing my pull list by dropping 3 Marvels: New Avengers, X-Factor, and Captain America. These are just a few of the comics I have quit over the last few months-- partially due to financial reasons and partially due to disgust over Civil War. I really hated to quit X-Factor; that was more of an economic cut.

I will tell you some good Marvel reading, however: I picked up Essential Amazing Spider-man vol.1. I have read many of the stories within this book, but there are still plenty of great stories I haven't read. Ditko does some fine work, of course, but I was really digging the short Spidey story that Jack Kirby draws at the end of one of the issues.

Superboy #180. As any listener of the show knows, I have a weakness for the old Superman/Superboy comics. This is another one of the first 100 or so comics I owned (and still do, of course). It was bought at a yard sale with a handful of others. This comic is a thrilling 48 pages (no small amount when you're a kid), with two fun Superboy tales and a Legion of Super-heroes reprint (probably the first Legion story I ever read, featuring the origin of Bouncing Boy). Definitely sunshine-n-smiles memories over this one...

Quite a few comics creators have passed away in the last 6 months. Each time I hear of another, I tend to feel more sadness about them than a thousand Anna Nicoles.

Avengers #275: The first issue of Avengers I bought fresh off the stands. The Masters of Evil siege of Avengers mansion was an exciting storyline that I fell right in the middle of as a youngster. This era of Avengers history is one of my favorites-- probably because it was a starting point for me, right? Nevertheless, the key kick to the artwork for many years of the Avengers was the inking of Tom Palmer. His finishes put a realism overtop anyone's pencils. Buying this while young was a key reason why I am a huge Avengers fan today,

Alert: rant to follow. I mean to offend no one. I didn't want to waste my podcast time going on about this... but I had to write this somewhere. ...In fact, you know what, don't even read this. Go walk in the sun. Go read a novel. Go watch a black and white movie.

Okay. Apparently, you'd rather not walk in the sun... I warned you. I have gone on about Civil War many times... I have tried to leave it alone. But it has occurred to me that I could dream that Marvel is trying to make a statement about the tyrannical nonsense of the Bush administration. Except they don't have the guts to admit anything definite, and they leave it ambiguous. They let us watch the happy fascist Iron Man (defense contractor businessman buddy of the doofy fascist president) win the Civil War, and they let Captain America die. If this was indeed a shot at (and a symbolic comment on) the current political conservative bullfeces, then I could live with it. But is Marvel too afraid to tick off the rightwingers? Or worse: do they actually believe in the Iron Man era of "heroism?" I can't conceive of such a mindset. Captain America and his crew were the only folks fighting for freedom here. To me, the civilians who tackled Cap in Civil War #7 were no heroes, despite being portrayed as firefighters and policemen(well, I don't usually consider popos heroes anyway...). If I were a costumed fellow in the Marvel Universe, I would be standing proudly beside Cap, eager to kick Iron Man's teeth in...assuming, of course, I had adamantium feet or something... Look, I am no patriotic man. I do not blindly follow any ideal. I'd be the first to tell Cap that being draped in the flag is a little much. However, he was the only one advocating the freedoms of those with powers and/or costumes. Iron Man and most of the hero population were willing to give up freedoms and answer to the government. Hello?! BAD THING THERE!!! And we watched Iron Man pull all sorts of rotten politician moves, even cashing in on the situation. The end of Civil War was a lame, disappointing, anticlimactic mess. Cap wimps out, looks around, cries, and drops his shield. The reasons he gives are oblique in intention and motivation, and noble in all the wrong places. Even if there's some message to be had here, it left me angry. If I ever wanted to rip a comic in half, I felt like it here.

Bottom line, Cap's death was just a dumb idea. Brubaker wrote a good story, but it was completely unneccesary. Of course, Cap will come back in some form... what worries me is WHAT form that will be. I'm waiting for someone to fix the MU, beat down Iron Hitler, and wake up the population of the MU America. Meanwhile, I've given up on Marvel. They make me tired.

Have you read the first issue of the new Brave and the Bold series? It conjured memories of fun old 70s DC team-up comics and appropriately so, I suppose. It's the most fun I've had reading a comic in a while. To celebrate the new Brave and the Bold series, I selected this issue (#197) of the old series, which is one of my favorite comics from childhood. It contains a wonderful story about the golden age Batman and Catwoman. Although I don't remember the details of the issue (and I can't go look at it; it's stored away), I remember it being quite moving at the time...

New Mutants #41. The New Mutants comic was one of my favorite books as a young reader. My first issue was #45, but I was able to find recent previous issues soon after, including this one. This solo Mirage (Dani Moonstar) story was a wonderful character study with beautiful artwork. Mirage travels home and finds herself in a showdown with death. I remember reading this comic on a sunny day in front of a picture window, thoroughly finding myself inside the story. Go get it!

Here, in Captain America #224, Cap goes through disorientation as his face seems to have changed, his memory is whacky, and he has some painful bumps on his arm... what has happened? This issue, when I was a kid, was so odd and offbeat, that it took several reads to straighten out the flashbacks (a hazard of being a kid and knowing nothing). But, this was one of my first comics, and it has a striking cover. We also get a guest appearance from the Avengers (did I ever mention that I love Beast as an Avenger?). This would have been my first Cap comic too.

DC Comics Presents #97. Another favorite from childhood-- but, frankly, many of these favorite comics will be. I know that will make these favorite picks biased because of sentimental value. Oh, well. As long as you folks know that too, I suppose. Anyway, this was the first issue of DC Comics Presents I bought and, ironically, the last issue produced. I'll never understand why they would want to cancel it three issues shy of #100. I enjoyed this issue because it was offbeat and rather dark (at least for a naive kid in the 1980s reading comics). It's Superman vs. the Phantom Zone criminals in a story that was psychological and dreamlike. I generally love the DC Comics Presents series. I always buy a back issue if I see one, and one day in the far future, I may actually find all the issues. If anyone has any they want to get rid of, let me know!

I want to take advantage of the blog here to show you some of my favorite comics that I own. Completely at random, I have chosen one of my faves: Avengers #131, a comic I bought at a flea market as a kid. Why do I love this one? The Avengers are prisoners of Kang, who unleashes the first Legion of the Unliving. I loved the L of the U. I loved the old, supposedly dead characters being pulled from time to appear in the same comic. Original Human Torch! Frankenstein's monster! Wonder Man! Even smaller, obscure characters. All that and an early appearance of Mantis. Cool stuff. I was even lucky enough to find the following issue at a different flea market and continue the story.

I also have FINALLY purchased my own scanner. I know, I know, I'm way behind the times. My first scanned and posted image was the last blog's Pom Pom pic. I can now post entertaining images from all the oddball comics I read...

Which brings me to my latest passing focus in my ongoing comic education. Last, it was The Mighty Crusaders. Now, it is corny romance comics. Yes, romance comics. They are a RIOT! They also contain art from all the greats, and due to the fact that they are romance comics, few folks are familiar with those eras of their artwork. For example, I just read a DC romance comic drawn by Gene Colon. Great art... ALSO, those postmodern art pieces that mimic the covers of those old romance comics mimic some really nice covers. I am going to be doing a show on romance comics soon.

Here's the cover of one of the comics I will be discussing (Super DC Giant #S-21). The cover is FANTASTIC!!! Just for the record, this comic is scarce (20-100 copies known to exist) and I got it for under a dollar in a box of random books a dealer was trying to get rid of. My guess is that he saw it was just another 1970s romance comic, so he tossed it in this box. This scarce book lists in Overstreet for $475 NM. To, me it's a beautiful looking comic that is incredibly scarce and quite a treasure. Any cover images are copyright their respective copyright holders.

Besides my normal new books, I got a stack of back issues during an all day comic shopping excursion with JJ. Some of the booty:

The Mighty Crusaders (1980s) #3,4; Cerebus Jam #1; a pile of Superboy and the Legion of Super-heroes issues; a pile of old Justice League of America issues; The Comet #1,2; Marvel Superheroes #20; The Phantom (from King Comics) #20; and lots more than I want to type in-- about 30-35 comics in all.

I was buying JJ comics as his Christmas gift, and I helped him pick out a few. He got about 20-25 comics. We drove to a comics shop we had never been to, and boy, did they have back issues... then we drove to a nearby antique/flea building to buy more comics. Add a happy lunch at Friendlys, and you have one good day. I also found a few X-mas gifts for the wife... which is good; I am woefully not prepared for the holiday...

Nearly all the books I'm about to mention are superhero titles, which is not indicitive of my overall reading tastes. I like everything from the most unheard of indie comics to Uncle Scrooge. My heart just grew up with superheroes... and you may be able to tell that I grew up Marvel... but I did read an indie trade in the past couple weeks that I enjoyed: the first volume of Stylish Vittles.

Currently on my pull list: Justice League of America, Justice Society of America, X-Factor, Captain America, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, & Astonishing X-Men. Limited series on my list: 52, Civil War, Civil War: Front Line, Agents of Atlas, All New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z, and Nextwave: Agents of HATE.

I recently dropped Thunderbolts and She-Hulk in order to add Comics Revue magazine, which reprints old newspaper strips. I predict another drop or two as I want to buy more back issues from the golden and (mainly) silver age...

Comics I am currently buying off the stands for a short time only for various reasons: Amazing Spider-man (for Civil War), Eternals (limited series), Fables (I'm going to get trades instead), and Newuniversal (I just want to see what Ellis does with it-- especially Spitfire, my favorite of the old New Universe).

I've also picked up some random reads, like the Marvel Milestones: Ultimate Spider-man, Ultimate X-Men, Microman, & Mantor special (mainly for the 2 golden age reprints) and The Official Handbook of the Invincible Universe. Also, I got Annihilation: Nova #4 because I heard it contains the death of Quasar, who I like. Yes, it does contain that, much to my chagrin and dislike.

I regularly get Wizard and Comics Buyer's Guide.

Back issues I read recently: Legion of Superheroes #280 & 281 (from 1981).

Currently in the middle of these books: the second volume of Stylish Vittles, a stack of Plastic Farm issues, and the huge Incredible Hulk #100 (present series).

I am still forgetting a lot, but it's late.

As Christmas nears, the radio has been invaded by Christmas music, and as the notes of "We Three Kings" fill the air, I am thinking of three kings of the comic industry who have passed away over the past weeks. Jerry Bails, herald of comic fandom. Dave Cockrum, artist whose contributions to the X-Men were integral. Martin Nodell, golden age artist and creator of the original Green Lantern. The heirs to these three kings owe them much.

This is a new feature for the blog page to try to give it some original written content. I will be running down my comics purchases for the day/week whenever I feel like sharing. These are not reviews, but there may be notes of interest.

On Wednesday, I stopped at Borders and bought Amazing Spider-man #536. Somehow JJ (sometime guest of the show) had this comic days before it was out at my local comic shop. Either my shop got a late shipment or whatever gas station/grocery store/bookstore he bought it from has good connections... I also decided to sample the new Richard Donner co-written Action Comics #845. I will review this on the show because new Attic correspondent Pat has sent me an audio review of the previous issue.

Today, I got my new books: The Official Handbook to the Invincible Universe #1, Newuniversal #1, Agents of Atlas #5, 52#31, and Justice Society of America #1.

I also drove to my favorite back issue store and picked up The Mighty Crusaders (the outrageous 1960s series) #3, Marvel Two-in-One #35 (Skull the Slayer! I've been looking for this one), and (insert drum roll) Detective Comics #359-- the first appearance of the Barbara Gordon Batgirl! I got that in a tattered, but otherwise decent condition for $6.50. That is why I love this store...

Still having trouble with episode 25. I'm going to re-edit it; the problem may be in the larger file size. I never claimed I was good with computers. I just like talking about comics...

So, the show won't be an hour. I will try to still make it as long as I can. Bits that were edited out will appear in episode 26. Stay tuned over the next 2 days. I'd edit it now, but it's 2AM. It's happy-sleepy time for this little narrowcaster...

Just when it started to look like Saturday was the normal upload day for The Comic Book Attic, I have to switch things up. Beware of me; I'm unpredictable...Actually, in a few days I will have my internet restored at home, and you will get an episode whenever I get one done (providing I have space on my account, of course). That still means a (usually) weekly show, just no set day.

Right now my computer is dissassembled, much like the Avengers (or currently, New Avengers) due to the arrival of new carpeting to our home. So, I can't record a new episode until I reassemble the machine. Even if I had a new one recorded, we're going to NYC Saturday. I plan to visit Midtown Comics for the first time. It oughta be an experience--oh, and the museums will be nice too. I will be sure to report on the trip in the show.

Episode 21 will be a lost episode. Episode 22 will be new. I'm working up to #25, which will, I hope, be a special event. More on that in the show...
