Tue, 4 August 2009 ![]() In this episode, I look at the Ziff-Davis 1953 G.I. Joe #27. Also, I talk about how I prioritize my back issue buying. Finally, I give a quick rundown of what the 1970s Marvel Value Stamps were all about. (20:26) Comments[3] |
Very insightful episode, never read any GI Joe prior to Marvel. Did read a lot of war comics from that time period though. Also loved your back issue methods. My methods are
1) Whatever captures my mood (changes weekly)
2) Cheap and affordable
3) Feel the holes
4) Things prior to 1984.
Keep up the great work Mike,
Mike M.

Thanks, Mike. I will say that thanks to listening to episodes of DC Noise, I look for old DCs almost equal with Marvel now!

The other day the shop was having a 40% off the comics on the wall and I had to pick up the first appearance of the Doom Patrol.
